It's been a while...

It's been a while is an understatement.. So much has changed and happened in the past few months, so please excuse my lack of blogging. I will try to be better.

The last time I posted it was about her 1 month check-up.. We did not go to her 2 month check up on time. Most of you who read my blog know that my brother passed away on February 24. So most of the weeks around that time are a blur. I am going to skip posting about that situation and stick to posting about my sweet little peanut.

Like I said 2 months was a blur I didn't even get to take a 2month picture. Her 2month appointment was actually on March 5. So just a couple weeks late. Here were her progress report from the pediatrician:

Her weight was in the 50th percentile
Her Head was in the 60th percentile
Her Height was in the 80th percentile :) duhhh

A lot of our second month we battled bad baby gas pains :( My poor peanut struggled for weeks, but has since improved :) Thank god. We tried lots of tricks the people have told us. A little excersises some heat and tummy pressure seemed to always help.. We also finally mastered breastfeeding after two months we finally figured out that Vi was tongue tied which actually had nothing to do with her tongue it was that little piece of skin connected from your upper lip to your gum was more connected than necessary. I learned some tricks to work with it and now she eats great...

Here are a few pics from month 1-2months...

3 MONTHS.. Where has the time gone! I can't believe I have a 3 months old. She is growing so fast. This month so far is about routine she is starting to become a lot more predictable with feedings/naps etc. This is her normal schedule

7:30 AM Wake Up & Feed
8:00-10:00am Playtime (we do tummy time play on her matt and bouncer the finish off in the swing)
10:00-11:00 Morning Nap
11:00-1:00 Play time
1:00-4:00 Afternoon Nap
4:00-7:30 is a mix of play time maybe a quick cat nap here and there
7:20pm Feed
7:30pm Bath
8:00 Bed time..

She now sleeps pretty much throughout the night. She sleeps from about 8-4 which is enough for me. With breastfeeding I prefer her to wake up between 3-4 that way its still easy for her to go right back to sleep. She normally sticks to this schedule give or take an hour EXCEPT bedtime.. Im pretty strict about that.

This kid fights sleep like a champ. I so hope its a phase.

She is becoming a much better traveler. She used to scream when we put her in her car seat but its much easier now. We will really put this to the test over the next few weekends. This weekend we will be traveling to Birmingham and the following weekend we will be taking our first plane flight to St. Augustine to visit my sister n law and the kiddos for a long weekend. So lots of things going on.

Here are some 2-3 month pics:
